Ananta Vasudeva Temple History
Dating back to the 13th century AD, this temple is dedicated to the complete idols of Lord Krishna, Lord Balarama, and Goddess Subhadra. According to legends, a shrine to Lord Vishnu existed here even before the current structure was built by Queen Chandrika, daughter of Anangabhima III, during King Bhanudeva’s reign. Marathas later renovated it in the 17th century.
